Martin Shearsmith
Born in the UK, Martin is now proud to call the Philippines home after more years than he wants to recall climbing the corporate ladder. Jack of all trades – from ice cream salesman, tabloid journalist to call centre director – Martin has now found his niche in life as our resident SDI Instructor, business guru and cultural attaché.
Lila Miranda
Dive goddess and fashion queen Lila is both the beauty and the brains in the outfit working closely with the team and carefully selected suppliers to bring her own unique t-shirt designs to life. A graduate of Manila’s SOFA (School of Fashion and Arts) Lila has combined two of her three greatest loves, diving and fashion. If only divers needed shoes as well……
Steven and Pie Ditching
Don’t let the name fool you! She can be as sweet as apple pie but when it comes to t-shirt production, Pie’s gloves come off and it’s all business. With husband Steven as our website guru, the duo are an integral part of the team.
Guada Chiva
Guada’s Little Black Book is the Who’s Who of diving in the Philippines, and beyond, putting her way out in front when it comes to handling our sales and marketing. A former dive resort manager, Guada learned the business from the inside out making her an invaluable resource for the Gear Up team as well as our clients.
